A heavy equipment manufacturer retained aes for environmental management services subsequent to a surprise audit by the PADEP.

aes personnel met with the client and conducted a comprehensive facility audit, then developed a series of recommendations based on the results of these actions. We facilitated a dialogue between our client and the regulatory agencies in order to provide and implement a pollution prevention and source reduction strategy.

As a result of these initiatives to minimize and properly handle waster our client was nominated for a governor’s award for a source reduction strategy. Residual wastes per production unit were reduced by 38%, and a recommended enhancement to the client’s paint booth reduced volatile organic compound (VOC) usage by 74%.
